    [Forum] All email and password notifications are not working after upgrading to vb4.2.0 pl2

    After upgrading my forum to version 4.2.0 Pl2, all email and password notifications are not working to all users.
    Also, I tried to send an e-mail to a specific email addresses manually from an admin cp but also failed and didn't send.
    I ran mail diagnostic test, it revealed me "no problems in sending e-mail" But I didn't receive any email as per diagnostic test.

    Help please

    Please look at the new settings for email. There is a new feature called cron-based email, its run emails in queues so disable it if you don't want any delays in sending email
    Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns

        Try this:

        AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Email

        Enter an email address that you have access to, click Send and post your findings here so we can establish where the problem lies.

          Clear the queues if you have any:
          Scheduled Tasks -> Scheduled Task Manager -> Process E-Mail Queue -> Click [Run Now]

          If you still have problems check your SMTP settings and diagnose using:
          Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Email
          Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns

                      If you are using SMTP, try to use the normal setting for sending email using php instead. If you don't, then try to use SMTP.

                        Unfortunately, I don't use SMTP and I tried using it but the problem still persist

                          Can you try logging the emails as per the instructions in here:

                          Are these mails logged to the file?

                            Unfortunately, not fixed.
                            I'll try to contact my host regarding this issue

                            Thanks
