[Forum] Best practice for url?

Currently our 3.8.2 forums reside on /forums. I am updating to publishing suite - do I install it on the existing /forums or the main www if I want the suite to "be" the entire website?

You can still have your directory the same and use redirect files that comes with the package to make either forum, CMS or blog in the main domain.
redirect files are included with the package you download from the member area within the do_not_upload folder.
