    Moderator Log bug?

When going to the "Moderator Log Viewer" and select a moderator you wanna see his/her logs (Show Only Entries Generated By); set a certain month (say Sept 11 to Sept 20, 2014); if this mod has a good number of logs, when navigating to page 2 of logs you will be shown logs for the next month and dates will be random!

    Is this a bug?

Looking at the code that generates the log it looks like no matter what it should be sorted by the date/time, most recent first.

Can you post a screenshot of the first page and second page to see this problem in action?

I had never noticed that before, but it sure does get messed up when you go to page 2. If you set the number to display to be high enough so that they all appear on one page, then it's OK. But as soon as you go to following pages, it's not in date order anymore...in fact things really go bad.

Here's an example...I chose 5 per page and the month of September 2014...ordered by date. Notice the first page, page 1 of 19. Then I advanced to the next page...page 2 of 2858...now it's showing things from October.

Should we expect a fix to be issued soon?

Best to keep an eye on the bug report.

There is no active development on vB4 outside of PHP compatibility issues, so it will depend on whether it can be fitted into a planned release.

The only real chance of an official fix is if it will be added to the next or final release of 4.2.3 beta. Please vote for the issue in the Bug Report.

FYI - This will be fixed in VB 4.2.3 Beta 4. Keep an eye out for its release.
