    Can we see your site?

If you have vBSEO or any .htaccess URL rewrites can you disable both and then try?

try to add ?dofbredirect=1 at the end of URL and see whether fb login is working .

        such as myforum.com/mythread.html?dofbredirect=1 or myforumURL.com/?dofbredirect=1

Ok I tried adding that at the end of the URL like you suggested and the FB login still doesn't work, absolutely nothing happens...

Are we getting somewhere yet? Process of elimination...

Create a new app in http://www.facebook.com/developers/ and copy the AppID & Secret Key details in Admincp-> settings--> Facebook Option

btw, Do you have SSL certificate? Is cURL supported by your host?

Ive done your first suggestion of creating the new app and still nothing happens.

Not sure if I have the SSL certificate when I purchased my hosting a few years ago. How can I check that? Can that have something to do with it not working?

Its weird because if you click that button not even the facebook box comes up like if you click it here on vbulletin.com I mean Literally nothing at all happens and its so frustrating.

You don't need an SSL certificate for Connect functionality.

That's different to a certificate which is for the server. Go to:

AdminCP > Maintenance > View PHP Info

...and do a search for SSL - do you see mod_ssl in the list of installed modules?

In my experience, Facebook Connect functionality won't work on a page that has any FBML on it.

Did you try using default vbulletin skin and see whether fb connect is working?
