I realized that the past four days of fighting database issues was probably because the "old" database is based off VB 3.8.2, and I was trying to import it to a test site that has VB 4.2. So, I went back, and redid it to the same version of VB that the "old" database is - and that has worked best, except I'm getting fatal errors because I of course do not have all the plugins and hacks added to the 3.8.2 on my test site. So - any suggestions on how to get around that?
