    [Forum] Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing - Uploading Photos

    Some of my member are having an issue when using the Full WYSIWYG Editing and uploading photos. It does not automatically insert the photos in-line in the thread but rather shows them as an attachment at the bottom of the thread. They then have to go into the manage attachments options select the photo and then select in-line then they will be placed in-line

    If they switch to the Standard Editor editor by using the following option then it works for them

    Edit - I just had the very same issue now here while uploading this image ?

    If you click "Insert Image" then it should insert inline. If you click "Attachments" then the default behavior is an attachment.

    Roses = "Insert Image" icon.

    Fireworks = "Attachments" icon.

      This is what I am saying we are selecting the Insert Image option above the postbox and this is what it is doing. It does not insert but rather adds it as an attachment. You then need to go to your attachment manager select it and then insert it in line. BTW we are all using FF 15.0.1

              Firefox 15.0.1 Quick Reply Working Now...

              The difference is I wasn't using the Flash powered uploader when it wasn't working. Can you confirm if you have the flash uploader enabled or not?

                  You would check by uploading an image via Firefox when you get a chance. if you get a button that says "Select Files" at the very bottom with a link to the "Basic Uploader" on the bottom-right then it is the flash uploader. If you have just a grey box that says "Choose Files; No files chosen" and "Upload Files" directly below it that is the standard attachment uploader (non-flash.)

                      Sorry I was being blond yes I have the flash uploader as default on my forum but I see above that it is a that it is a known bug. One of my mods tested using Opera and it does the same thing so it does not seem like it is just FF

                            I'm having the same issue, it's weird because it worked fine (I was able to see the images) and suddenly it started to put a link to an attachment, that eventually will be deleted.

                            This link explains my issue:
