Hi

I would like to set a new tab which leads to a set of calculations which I'd like to charge for - Is this possible? I'd like people to either pay per use or make a one off payment. ANy advice very much appreciated.

Using options built into vBulletin you can control usergroups by paid subscriptions and the usergroups control which forums a user may have access to.

It sounds like you don't want to show a forum but a custom page... It is certainly possible to create a custom php page and limit access by usergroup but you would need to get help with this on www.vbulletin.org. I know there is an article in the VB4 Articles section there about creating your own vbulletin powered page. That would be a good start.
