    Auto parsing links

V4.2.2.If I post text with http://, the link is auto-parsed even if Auto parse is set off.

This only occurs if the forum allows HTML.

I wouldn't allow html to be enabled in any forum, honestly.

I am allowing in one subforum only which is moderated. Most of the posts are mine in that one subforum. I must be able to create my own external A tags. But, VBulletin is goofing up the links.

Had to create a couple of BBCodes and write a program to change all my posts. Solved. But, this is a bug.

Not really a bug. It is how CKEditor handles links before they are passed to the vBulletin interpretor. Since you allow HTML, all links will be parsed by CkEditor and since we get a parsed link, we turn it into BBCode. We can't read your mind and know that you didn't want it parsed.

Ahh, not a bug, a feature.

Sorry to bump an older thread.

Is there anyway to actually edit this to be disabled, even with HTML set to on? It messes up custom BBCode that requires a link.
