[Forum] What's New - Not picking up all posts

I've noticed that new posts being put into a specific forum aren't coming up on the "What's New" list when selected.

I assume it's a setting somewhere but not sure where. I have a forum with child forums in it and this is where the problem lies. All other forum categories appear to work ok.

In Forum Manager are posts in these forums set to be indexed in the search engine?

Aha, in one of the child forums it was set to no, I had every other forum set to yes. I've changed that over so hopefully all will be well now :-)

Hoped it would be something easy, not sure how I missed it! Many thanks.

Note- It will only start working on new posts... Old posts won't be added to the search index unless you rebuild the search index in the Maintenance -> General Update Tools section of the Admin CP. Rebuilding the search index can take hours, even days on large forums so don't attempt it unless you are sure you need to.
