    [Answered] Username Change.

Hi...I changed the name of a registered user and placed him in the Administrators usergroup. He can access the ACP but only the Announcements, Moderation, Stats and Logs and vBulletin API. I compared him to my profile and everything seems the same.
Any clues as to what I am missing would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check Administrators Permissions under Usergroups menu

AdminCP > Usergroups >> Admininstrators Permissions
To be or not to be... Where the hell is the question????
My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too

You'll need to set his permissions as an administrator:

AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions -> Click [Edit Permissions] for the user.

Add his user id to the config.php file.

Only if you want to give him/her permissions for the options listed in config.php, like SuperAdmin

Setting Admin permissons in forum would be enough otherwise

Of course, the config.php file tells exactly what permissions gives if you put the user id there.

Putting the user ID in config.php is not a way to set permissions and wouldn't do anything for what the OP was asking.

                    Best,
