Demote Article to Thread?

We are looking at uninstalling the CMS module completely but have a few articles we would like to hang onto. Is there a way to demote an article to a thread without simply copying and pasting all the content?

There's no way to reverse that process....however, depending on how you have things set up, the original thread might still be in place and the vBCMS Comments forum may have all the comments in place so you could reconstruct things from there and move them into a public forum..

Thanks Mark. That actually provides a perfect path for me. Will be a little more work, but it means I will soon be able to uninstall the CMS which will be a good thing for us.
