[Forum] Attachments in PM's and Calendars

I've noticed there's no attachment icon in the editor for PM's and Calendar entires. Probably more if other sections use the same editor.
I'd like to offer this ability to my members. Can this be done? Perhaps a setting I'm missing somewhere or a change to the editor template would suffice.

    Thank you,

The default vBulletin softtware does not support attachments in PM's and Calendar entries. You can look over at vbulletin.org where such a modification I think is available.

Thanks Andy. I wasn't sure. I did find a mod like that but for 3.x nothing for 4.x. I do have a post there as well asking about it.

      Thanks again

Thanks MrD - I just checked it out and it seems it's still in a beta stage and fairly buggy. I've tagged it and await a stable version.

Also hoping it allows for attachments in the calendar editor as well.

As of right now, you'll need to find a modification for it over at vBulletin.org

This is the link to the product at vbulletin.org (for vBulletin 4) which lets you use attachments in private messages:

No private support, only PM me when I ask for it. Support in the forums only.

Yes, that modification is pretty buggy and I don't think Andreas has gotten round to fixing it up. That's the closest you're going to get to Private Message Attachments for now.

did a little follow up research, i think this plugin once worked, then the upgrade to 4.2.x came...

aint got no time at hand for checking deeper into it right now sadly, itll have to wait...
