I am brand new to vB. I am confused as to the difference between the Settings - Options permissions and the usergroup permissions. For example, in Settings - Options - Tagging Options there is a "global option" to disable tagging. However, if I disable tagging there, there are still various tagging options and permissions that I can set in the Usergroup Manager.
So, say I disabled tagging under Settings - Options - Tagging Options, but enabled tagging for registered users using the usergroup manager, would they be able to use tagging? (I'm guessing no, is that right?)
Also, is there any way to highlight, in this kind of situation, when a global option is over-riding usergroup permissions? Otherwise I'm worried I will enable something in the usergroup permissions and then wonder why it isn't working.
