[CMS] What's the best location to get Google+ button to appear in the CMS

If you want the Google+ button to appear in the CMS, what template do you choose? What's the best location for the code that gives it good visibility without messing up something else?

Or, if this is a better solution given that there's a widget manager in the vBulletin CMS, rather than adding the Google+ button to your templates, is there a widget that you can get that does the same job for you?

I'd say it needs to be in vbcms_article_page.

It probably needs to be near the Facebook Like button, if you are using that.

We have implemented it under the article:

Onlinekredit | Fussball | Fußball Community

Looks nice that, and also similar to how I have done it (except I've turned all that stuff off at the moment due to Facebook slowing the site down).

The above example is probably the best way to implement it in the CMS.

I like the location too although if it were me I would remove the facebook box i.e. Fussball Community | Soccer-Fans.de on Facebook and place it on forumhome only in what's going on, just a suggestion .

Just found that template (thanks): For anyone else looking it's actually in vbcms_content_article_page, which is in vbulletin_cms_templates.

In that template I've just spotted the code for the Facebook like button: However, whilst the Facebook like button shows on my blogs page, it doesn't show in my "Articles" section. What do I have to do to turn on the Facebook like button in the articles section? In the settings, options, Facebook settings menu I have enabled "Facebook platform on", and I have the "Like Button, CMS articles" button turned on. But the Facebook like button doesn't show in articles even though it shows on the blogs page.

Oops sorry.....it is there. It's just so tiny that I missed it.

Looks really nice. Only thing is we presently allow the homepage to display content from subsections and allow a large number of articles. So I can see that looks good on your site, but on my site I'd be concerned that users wouldn't scroll down, they'd just stop at the content they were interested in.

If you wanted it to appear to the right of the RSS feed, next to the title on the CMS (i.e. in the default downloaded vB4 this would be next to the thing in Articles which says "The Front Page", or on vBulletin.com next to the title Newest Articles) where would you put this? Which template? And would the Google+ javascript need to be between vbliteral labels?

Advantage being that this area is unutilized white space, including on vBulletin.com

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
