To get Twitter to show at the top of the forum, Our forum admin was told to add the following via Styles & Templates->Style Manager->Edit Template->header (under class="nouser")
<ul class="nouser"><li><a href="https://twitter.com/OurWebSite" class="twitter-follow-button" data-show-count="false">Follow @OurWebSite</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script></a></li>
It works until she signs in, then the Twitter button disappears. I see 2 things that do not appear right. 1. There are 2 closing tags for the anchor tag (I removed the 2nd end tag). 2. I would think "nouser" would indicate that it will only show for those not logged in.
She is not a coder, so someone gave her the code. I have 2 questions.
1. What is the correct syntax for adding the twitter button and 2. where is the proper place to add it, so that it shows up all of the time? Thanks. Frank
p.s. I did try adding it to both class nouser and class isuser, but the results were the same. Works before signing in, but not after.
