i'am looking for a solution to a problem i have with that widget. We have one forum filled with content from a RSS-Feed that contains HTML code and we want to show recent threads of this forum in the widget on the CMS-Page. Problem is, the widget encodes the HTML so that the actual symbols show up there and the HTML is not parsed as it is.
Maybe there is another variable i could use instead of {vb:raw thread.preview} that doesn't reencode the content? Any suggestions how to solve this? Best solution would be, if the content for this preview could be stripped of any html, so that i only get the text (without any <br><b> or <p> and such)
