[Forum] Albums are messed up

Hi Everyone,

I tried to look for this here in the forum & Google as well but couldn't find something to solve my issue.

I been having this issue for a long time but just that i never bothered to get it solved :P Anyways my issue is that when i click on my album it doesn't show proper image or thumbnail image for that album and once i click n open all the images are on top of each other and and the contents are over the images as well.

I am attaching 2 images to make it more clear. Hopefully i have expressed my issue in correct wording. Sorry about my poor English :P

First image shows how it looks like when i click on my album.


2nd image shows how it looks like when i open it & all images are messed up with contents on the images.

Start by disabeling any mods you use and see if the issue is resolved

Could you post a link? I think it would be easier to troubleshoot if we could see what's actually happening.

Also as a first step try reverting all the album templates.

i did disable all the mods via config.php but still same issue.

Can you create a new style with no parent? and make it available to test account

it looks like it is your style, but could be any other things to...

I managed to see your album fine with little playing around

Let me do that right now .......... Well i can see my album once i open pictures one by one. that's fine but when u click on album it doesn't show up properly. Give me few mins i ll update here with new style.

Okay its done ... choose Vbulletin Default. LOL ignore the color scheme i did in a hurry. I checked and still the same issue.

That doesn't look like the default style..

Do not upload or import another style.. just click create a new style with no parent.

I tried your mobile style and album list looks fine...

Well i went to style generator & created it from there ... just named it as vbulletin default

no don't do it that way

from styles settings page click on Create a New Style at the buttom of the box

Okay updated again .. choose VB DEFAULT.

i just tried same issue for me.

Yeah, I see the same, with the adds and extra stuff...

That page lists thumbnails of album and they don't look like thumbnails to me.. Try rebuilding albums and see what happens

Hmmmm just created new album & did rebuilt them as well and still the same issue.

do u happen to know where i can check thumbnail settings for albums ?? i can't figure it out

Settings >> Options >> User Profile: Album Options
there is no thumbnails options there though

How about disabeling all mods and maybe the adds too?

I Don't see any thumbnail settings in there at all .... I have tried disabling all the mods & ads as well but nothing happened.
