I can't just turn off the cron like the other guy did since I'm on a shared hosting with email limits per hour/day.Comment

All that new function does is queue them in batches that you can set - disabling it makes it the way it was before you upgraded so if it worked fine before, it'll work fine nowComment

I was using pauls mail cron mod at vbulletin.org to do this for me. Now that I've upgraded, the cron queue isn't working any more.

That's the same mod just integrated into the software. Are all other Crons working OK? How many mails have you set to be sent per batch?Comment

If you like I can pm you temp admin login details so you can check it out. And yes it appears that all of the (other) crons are working.
Number of Emails to Send Per Batch 80
E-Mail Send Delay 5 seconds
Use Cron Based Sending Yes
Use Mailqueue System Yes

I'm having the same issue. Have 80 e-mails stuck in the mailqueue. Was using Paul's mod on 4.1.12 and upgraded to 4.2.0. I uninstalled Paul's mod but now seem to have 80 e-mails stuck in the mailqueue even though I have use mailqueue setting to on, have no time delay, and process 80 e-mails per batch. I have tried to go to Scheduled Tasks and run the queueprocessor manually but it hasn't made a difference.
Any suggestions? Thank you.Comment

by Doc55I've set up notifications so that emails go out to users without delay. The task manager is set up to send batch emails every 10 minutes (which is the default). However, emails are not going out for hours....
