[Forum] Promotion FROM additional TO primary (possible?)

Is this even possible? I'm trying to make a promotion on a additional usergroup (custom made) with a promotion to a primary usergroup (also custom made), but regardless what options I use (promotion type), days, posts, etc equal/larger and even less. It refuses to promote the people, even when I run it manually a million times. Any help on this one?

I don't believe this is possible at this time.

If it isn't possible, how come vBulletin promotions let me? If something isn't possible, shouldn't an error pop up?
