    [Blog] Increase RSS output number

Currently our blog only shows the last 15 blog entries. We need to increase this due to our newsletter software (that pulls from the RSS feed). How do we do that?

The only setting that I see that affects this is under Settings -> Options -> External Data Provider. Increase the Maximum External Records value. This will include the forum RSS as well.

That does not appear to work. I changed the number to 50 and it still only puts out 15.

Because we do a RSS Newsletter campaign that pulls directly from this blog, being forced to only 15 doesn't pull all our advertising. Does anyone else have any ideas on how to fix this?

Then the value must be hardcoded for the blog. You'd have to look in the code and edit the value.

Where do I find it in the code? Do I need to open a ticket to get this addressed? Thank you.

The code is in the various blog_ files. This particular bit is probably in blog_external.php. However we don't support modifications of this sort so a ticket wouldn't help. Modifying the code is done at your own risk. You can ask over at www.vbulletin.org. Maybe someone there knows the exact code to change.
