[CMS] Promoted article however comments dont match

I promoted this thread - http://www.midwiferyonline.co.uk/thr...7959#post27959 to an article - http://www.midwiferyonline.co.uk/con...comments_start however it hasnt taken the comments from the thread and added them to the article, it has created a new thread for the article here - http://www.midwiferyonline.co.uk/thr...-by-step-guide

So if I got to the original thread and add a comment, the article doesn't get updated with the comment.

I thought this was fixed in the latest version? Whats the point in promoting a thread (for example a popular useful thread) if all it's going to do is create an article and make a new thread... Now I have two thread with the same discussion? It's all going to get a bit lost as comments from the new thread will get added to the article, but theyve missed out on loads of comment from the original article.

See how mind boggling that is??

    Or is it just me..

Did you select all the options to keep the comments associated with the article like shown in this blog post - vBulletin 4.1.11 - Promote post as article

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

No I haven't as I didn't know there were new options I thought it was just automatic.

I can't see in that blog post where these options need to be changed, I'm looking through the options and can't find it.

You need to set those options as you promote the post to an article. That is the only time those options will appear.
