[Forum] Message Posting Doublepost Options does not work always

Time Check Limit set at 1440.

As a forum administrator, I have noticed that my own double posts are never merged. The feature works sometimes for some of the members but it is not perfect.

The third party addon I was using and which was disabled by vB 4.2 update never had this issue.

Is this a (known) bug? Or something wrong with my installation?

Administrators are exempt from it.

ooh. and there is no option to disable it. that is sort of weird. i hope they expand on the functionality in a future update!

You can make it include administrators.

Admin CP >> Usergroups >> Usergroup Manager >> (choose your usergroup) >> Exclude From Double Post Merges >> "No"

ah cool thanks! i am not really a fan of scattered options but this would do.

It's not scattered if it's in a relevant location.

You can also enable/disable it on a per-forum level using the forum manager.

Ok. Found another possible bug with this feature. If the second post has a link, it is not processed by vBulletin and is posted as pure text. Can anyone confirm if they can replicate this problem?
