Hacked Member issue
We are running on 4.1.7 Patch level 2
One of our registered forum users notified me that he could not login and was getting a banned ip error message. I was talking with him via Facebook message when we realized that a hacker was online on our Vbulletin forum using his account. The ip was 208.184.162.197 I immediately banned this ip. For the next few hours that ip came up as someone trying to login.
My forum user still cannot access his account even when we attempted to create a new account for him. Also any emails he tried to send me did not get to me as I was trying to find what his actual ip address was.
What can I do to help him out so that he can get his account restored? He is already changing all his passwords on all his other accounts, email etc...
