What is marked in yellow has no bearing on where the default links to. It only means there are no subnav elements.Translations provided by Google.

Open your Navigation Manager (Settings -> Navigation Manager) and reset the default tab from the Activity Stream to the Articles tab. Since your Article's tab leads to your site URL without a file like content.php, the default activity stream tab will be loaded.
