For some reason, my husband cannot edit any post in his forum. He can make posts, but when he goes to edit one, the post completely disappears (in the quick edit). When he tries to use the advanced editor, the editor doesn't show up at all. I've tried disabling all mods to see if one of those could be the cause, but the problem still exists.

Is it just for him, or are any other users affected?
He should clear the browser cache, then close and restart the browser.MARK.B

If you are not running vB4.2.2 and your server is running PHP5.4 (or greater), then that is the issue. vB4.2.2 will work with PHP5.4 and vB4.2.3 will work with PHP5.5 so you may need to upgrade the vBulletin software.

PHP is 5.4. I have just noticed that older posts can be edited, it's just the newer ones that have the problem.
Edit: My mistake - only some older posts can be edited. I tried to enter the install/upgrade system, but received the following error message:
Code:Strict Standards: Non-static method vB_Shutdown::instance() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /home/******/public_html/board/includes/class_core.php on line 3314 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/******/public_html/board/includes/class_core.php:3314) in /home/******/public_html/board/install/includes/class_upgrade_ajax.php on line 744 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/******/public_html/board/includes/class_core.php:3314) in /home/******/public_html/board/install/includes/class_upgrade_ajax.php on line 745

As of vBulletin 4.2.2, notices and warnings are no longer suppressed by default like in previous versions of the software. This means that on some servers, you may see warnings that you never saw before. In order to stop them from showing, please add the following line to your config.php file under the <?php line:
PHP Code:define('SKIP_ALL_ERRORS', true);

Well, I think I managed to solve part of the problem. I re-uploaded all the vBulletin files, went through the upgrade process again, and disabled a couple of mods. Now he can edit using the quick edit, but the editor still doesn't show on the full editor.Comment

Did you add that line to the config.php file? Most admins need to do so or there are problems on the site.
When you say the "editor still doesn't show on the full editor", exactly what to you mean? And if you login as this user, do you see the same thing? Does he have it set in his Settings > General Settings to show the Full WYSIWYG editor?
