[CMS] Users seeing site in Maintenance mode

Hi, I have users who are seeing the site in maintenance mode.

I just want to check to see if this is a setting or a DNS issue.

The site changed servers, and the DNS is only propagating now about 10 hours.

Could this be people seeing the old site in maintenance mode when it was being moved (or is still there).

I had someone do this for me, but I am curious if there could be a setting that needs to be flipped back.

I have logged in with one persons account and it works fine, but they are on the other side of the country and see 'Maintenance Mode'

    Thanks,
    JM
    Hmmm. Cheese.

Yes; DNS is slow - especially if you did not set a short time to live , for example 5 minutes. It may take quite a long time.

      Jim,

Typically it takes 24 to 48 hours for full DNS propagation, I myself when working on sites usually see the relocated site within 2 hours but some others do need the full 48 hours before it's shown properly. I feel that is the case here therefor I would simply let any members who email or instant message you about the site know that it should only be a little bit longer before they see the site on your new server.
