    [Forum] vBulletin 4.1.12 update problem

Right now I have the 4.1.8 version and I'm trying to update to 4.1.12
Everything goes right, but when it gets to Status: Processing Blog, Step 1 of 17 it just stays there. It just stucks at 33%!
And if you see the details it just shows you this:

    • Processing Blog

Help guys! I'm trying it in xampp to see what differences I will get!

EDIT: One last thing, why is that vbulletin doesn't let me log in in xampp?
    Thanks!

By the way, I have the blog disabled in 'Products', it seems like the forum has been updated though.
I just quit the installation and in the forum it shows 4.1.12
    Is that ok?

How long did you wait? Sometimes it seems like it's stuck then it moves on.

You have a setting wrong somewhere.. maybe the cookie domain/path settings?

(This is like saying "I can't start my car. What's wrong with it?" - you need to provide a lot more information to diagnose the issue.)

          I waited about 10 minutes.

Actually the forum actualization worked I think, because I saw it updating version by version until the 4.1.12
The problem started when it was trying to process the Blog.
So after like 10 minutes I quit and just refreshed the site. Everything worked perfect and the version changed to 4.1.12.
I was just asking if this ever happened to anyone here?
I wanted to know if it was because I have the blog product disabled but I can't seem to be able to login into admincp. Somehow it won't recognize user/password. (not even before actualization)

Where can I check the cookie domain/path settings? Thanks!

EDIT: Solved the user password problem!
            Just the other problem remains!

2nd EDIT: As I thought, forum upgraded perfect 4.1.12
Blog didn't. Still says 4.1.8 in Products.

If the blog product wasn't active when you ran the upgrade, it might not be picked up by the upgrade script.

If something repeats itself like that, normally it means the server is returning an error for some reason. I'd suggest reuploading the files and re-running the upgrade script. If the same thing happens again open a support ticket.

I've uploaded to my main site.
I have the same error but now I have a diagnose.

An error has occurred. Please contact vBulletin Support for assistance.Module: vbblog, Step 1 Error.Mismatch between product version 4.1.8 and vBulletin version 4.1.12

Were all of the files for this release uploaded?

It looks like you do not have a suite license. You'll need to disable the blog or upgrade to the suite if you want to keep using the blog

But that's what its funny. I don't even use the Suite nor the Blog. I have them disabled at all because I don't own them. So why is is trying to update them?

I thought non-suite owners got a different download package that didn't include the suite components at all? How does someone end up not owning a suite licence but having the suite components in place? Is it to do with swapping licences around or something?

They do, chances are he used someone elses files, or possibly did things. Either way he still has the files in place for the blogs and cms, which is why it is causing a problem.
