Your last reply is confusing. You say they are "stored correctly in the database", but then give the paths to the images in the filesystem. So, which is it?

Are you positive about the version of PHP on the server? Where are you viewing this?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Hmmm, out of curiosity, is there a reason you aren't running 4.2.2 instead of 4.2.1?

You purchased the software less than a month ago, so you actually still have ticket support (you get a month of ticket support with your license). I'd suggest putting in a ticket and letting us take a look around.

Can you let us know what you did to make it work? (or PM me your solution) I have the same issue, and have not been able to figure it out...

            Thanks in advance -

You need to open a ticket i dunno how Lynne fix it. She say something about storage type and suggest to upgrade to 4.2.2 but i dunno how she fix it.
Maybe she can provide some info.

                Lynne -

Can you share how you fixed this issue? I have same issue on a brand new site that I'm trying to get correct before I get too many users...

                Thanks -

I moved his avatars from the database to the filesystem.

                    Lynne -

Also trying to make work on my site, here's what I have done...
                    • Forum Block - Forum Threads (The default block that comes with VB)
                    • Avatars are currently being served from the filesystem at ./customavatars (folder permission 777)
                    • Rebuilt Avatars and Custom avatars
                    • tried GD, and Imagemagik
                    • When I move my mouse over where the avatar is supposed to be, I get the ability to click on a link to go to the user profile...

after trying all of these options, I can still not get this to work. What else should I try?

                    Thanks -
                    Todd

Have you looked in the file system in ./customavatars/thumbs to verify the thumbnail images are there?
