Going thru hell the last couple of days. Our server died and the company we got it from gave us a new one, set it up, loaded all the backups (thank god for backups) and most of the sites are fine except for one we use vbulletin on. The old server had xcache which I had set up, the new one has not had xcache installed yet.
We are getting a white page and error showing now: fatal error: Storing of variables is not enabled within xcache in .../includes/class_datastore.php on line 533.
Because of this I cant get into admincp. I know the normal practice of moving servers would have been to go and disable xcache before doing final backup but in this case the server died and this could not be done.
If I ask our host to install xcache would this get rid of the fatal error? Is there anyway to disable xcache in the mean time to get rid of the error so I can check out the rest of the site? Haven't seen it since the new server went live.
