How do you link a CMS menu item to a direct Article?

    Hey Guys,

I'm slowly getting the hang of using the CMS. There is one thing that I just can't figure out right now.

I've created an article called "Features". I'd like to create a CMS menu (Section Navigation) item called "Features" and link it DIRECTLY to the specific article.

Also, how can you add a link to an external site from the CMS menu (Section Navigation) as well?

You can't unless you create your own Static HTML widget in place of the standard dynamically created one.

Well, that's not entirely true. You can create a section called "Features", and then create an article inside that section, and in the settings for the article, select "YES" to option "Full Display in Section Page".

As far as the external links go, that part is not possible unless you do a custom widget.
