[Forum] Display stats from "What's Going On?" in navbar?

I want to display {vb:raw totalonline} and {vb:raw numbermembers} in navbar template.
In order to make this possible I have to edit functions.php, right? I tried something like that, but it didn't work.

Could someone please help me to add support of totalonline / numbermembers in navbar template?

Not exactly. You would need to write a plugin to grab those numbers and then also to register those variables for use in the template. For help with that, you should ask over on vbulletin.org, the modification site. (Actually, search first because this has been covered before over there.)
