[Forum] Grey boxes appearing around everything

This problem appeared overnight, so I wasn't able to even look at it until I woke up. I am using 4.1.7 vBulletin, and have a few add-ons but those never before caused any issues.

When guests view the forum (or when I log out), problem is gone, but as soon as I log in these boxes appear again. I've searched in style vars but I couldn't find such settings. I've also searched in Templates for that color (#e1e1e1) but still nothing.

I have recently installed this add-on but I don't think it's a problem because I've done so last night and everything was fine. I have reverted settings to how they were before, just in case it was the problem, but still nothing.

It happens on all installed layouts, including new ones I add, so I assume it's a global problem.

It doesn't seem to help. Guests don't have any problems with it, only logged in members do.

I would not rule out the addon as is had you add additional.css. Remove the addon and make sure you revert any manual changes made to CSS an anything else. With the Stylevar changes in releases, this could have impact as the mod was built for a version later than the one you are on.

Make sure you clear any caching after reversion as well.

It doesn't seem to help. Guests don't have any problems with it, only logged in members do.

You will see different css for logged in user versus guests. Use Firebug to determine which css is controlling that color and do an override using additional.css template.

I logged in from my phone and used standard forum theme and there was no error :/ I still have no idea how to use Firebug, but will do my best to figure out.

Will also work on reverting all changed templates.

Seems to be part of your custom style from vbinspired.com. You might simply ask them how to remove it.

I have managed to remove the backgrounds, but an even bigger problem are these:


First: New Posts list. It's massively expanded and is narrowed from sides.

Second: Navigation bar has disappeared and now is just above the forum.

I appreciate all the help you can give me. Any advice what I can look for?

I disabled ALL products, and even made a completely new layout (default skin etc.) and it all still appears like that.

All other styles have been disabled so our members have minimal inconvenience with these errors until they are fixed.

Here is link to the default skin: http://www.popdaily.net/forum/forum.php?styleid=33 (colors have been set using vBulletin's 'Style Generator' tool, nothing manually added). New Posts list is massively expanded and every box is moved to right for about 20px.

Clicking New Posts when using the style your just linked to (styleid 33) shows a normal New Posts listing. I don't see anything unusual about it.

To guests - it's all normal. Only to logged in members it's expanded and moved. That's what is worrying me.
