[Forum] Already registered?

On default template, version 4.1.11 I have a weird problem.

If I click on register, then login I get the following error.

. Our records show that you have already registered under the name of BraindG. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here.

How can I stop this?

Three Ways

1) Turn on Multiple Registrations under Settings -> Options -> User Registration Options. Not really recommended but some people allow it.

2) Delete the cookies for your forum before trying to register and use a different email address.

3) Use a different browser to register and a different email address.

So this is normal behaviour, based in stored cookies?

Checking the existing cookies and email addresses are how it checks for multiple registrations. Disallowing multiple registrations is the default setting.
