    [Forum] Sidebar not showing up

    Hello everyone,

I know I must be missing something very simple, but the sidebar for my forum won't appear unless I enable the "Everywhere Sidebar Mod"

I'd actually like to work without this mod because it is superseding my custom theme's css style for the sidebar which looks way better. I uninstalled it and the sidebar just doesn't show up. So this isn't a question about any mod, otherwise I'd post on vb.org

I'm just trying to run the bundled sidebar options and it simply won't work.

I have them turned on here:

Admincp --> Settings --> Options --> Forum Sidebar and Block Options

And I have 3 different Block Codes that are showing up with ESB, but not anymore.

    What did I miss?

    Thanks

Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - does the sideblock show up now? Is there actual content in the blocks, because if there isn't, then nothing will show up in the default forum sidebar.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thanks Lynne.

It does show up now, and to my astonishment when I switch styles it shows up now also in those styles too.

      Many thanks!
