Hi I've been meaning to ask about css validation a while back. With the new upgrades on version 4.10, I've had to revert a lot of templates from the custom version that our forum currently uses. The custom template was geared for 4.0.7 I believe which was confirmed with css validation http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/. I was under the impression that this is a best practices requirement for all websites to be verified with these services for both html and css. However, if I run this forum's url https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/, it shows that there are 459 css errors and 79 warnings. For html there is only 1 error.
My question ... Is css validation really all that important? If it is then why are so many registered with the base style for vbulletin?
Reason I am asking is because I personally did all the css validation corrections about a year ago and it was painfully long. I can see from running the validate now that I have 194 errors to address... that I'm not looking forward to.
