[Forum] Popup javascript alert shows HTML

On your $vbphrase[updateprofilefields] there is this message:

You have empty profile fields that are required to be filled in. Please <a href="profile.php?{1}do=editprofile">click here to edit your profile</a> and update these fields.

it is showed via a javascript alert wich... unfortunately... does not convert in a link the link so the message appear exaclty as it is included html code.

    I think is a bug !

Edit: of cours when it appear in the forum page the link is correct !!! only the Javascript is wrong !!

Any update on this? It would appear that when you re-direct to a page which is not /forums.php it shows the javascript popup - this is a HUGE bug for us as it is confusing our users who need to fill out the profile fields. Can we please get an answer as-to how I can resolve this... if I reload the page (which it shows) it will show the properly formatted html - but ON LOGIN if your default page is not /forums.php it shows the incorrect javascript popup!

To provide more information here is what shows up when a user logins if the redirect is the "CMS"

However, if you refresh the page after pressing ok it shows up correctly on the CMS page.

It would appear that the javascript was not meant to show up and it should actually just re-direct as it does on the forums page. Any help on resolving this a.s.a.p for me?

    Thanks!

Has it been reported in the bug tracker?

Bugs will not be fixed based on forum threads, as the developers do not work in the support forums, they need to go into the bug tracker.

That said, there is no development now on vBuleltin 4, so it is unlikely anything would change.

You can always edit the phrase so it doesn't have HTML.

Just click the tracker link and create a new bug under vB 4.

Just complete title and description, nothing else matters.
