[Forum] Avatars - Everyone can use them!

Many of my members have uploaded and use their own avatars. Recently I've had new members join and use the same avatars, much to the other members disgust!

I'm not sure why members can see everyone else's avatars, anyone know if I might have something set wrong or maybe have them stored in the wrong place?

It is a simple matter to save an Avatar to a computer ( right click the mouse then "save picture as") then use it anywhere else.

I appreciate that but I'm asking about keeping members avatars private so that other members cannot use them....not downloading the file.

Not possible without issues especially on a large forum.

So members can't have their own unique avatar?

Since they can be copied easily the answer is no, unless it is possible to add coding to the software to prevent duplication within a website,
