    Get the new package.
Upload all new files to overwrite the old ones (make notes of any customisations)
run the upgrade script from your browser.
    job done!

I am upgrading the same versions as above.

I have an issue understanding how I find the domain( or what they are asking me for). I get an error that the web site can't be found. My site is http://theamiablehost.com

What do I type in the address bar? http://www.yourdomain.com/pathtoforu...ll/upgrade.php.

1.uploaded files to my server using Filezila
            2.Overwrote files in filezila.
            3.Shut off my forum
4.try ed to log into my install using the above link like this : http://www.theamiablehost.com/pathtoforums/install/upgrade.php

I have tried it several ways editing the above link nothing works.
Thank you. Your help would be appreciated.

Http 404 not found. I uploaded them to www instead of public_Folder would that matter? The info says two ways to do it I guess sitegrounds tutorial and Vbulletins. What about naming my upload file i named it what my home/theamiab/. Home directory was. I just got done uploading them again.
