Is there an easy way to recover deleted CMS articles?

I think once they are gone, they are gone. If you have a database backup, you may be able to at least get the article content to recreate it.

I deleted the Articles area. Any way to re-add?? I tried to add the components piecemeal using templates but the "new topic" and other controls don't connect and I cannot edit those features....
