    Searching on my website returns "Service Temporarily Unavailable"

    When I use the search bar on my forum it showes: Service Temporarily Unavailable

    This is the link when I search for something: /forum/search.php?do=process

    advanced search button gives same message: /forum/search.php

    Many times when I try to edit style variables like pagetitle_color it gives me the error message too. I can't change the name or color or directory of any variables.

    Would appriciate if someone could suggest me solution.

    Have a look at your servers error logs for clues.

        Ask your host if you don't know where to find them.

        Can you also look at your PHP version in admincp and what vb version are you on. Your problem may be related to this.

        A recent upgrade to 4.2.2 PL1 If I enter text in search box and click search symbol > normal behaviour. If I click search symbol with no text in search box >

          Add the following line to your includes/config.php under the <?php line:
          PHP Code:
          define('SKIP_ALL_ERRORS'true);

          Does this fix the issue?
          I've seen php warnings be the cause of several cases of this type now.

            ^ Thanks so much! You really saved my day, I was just about to re-install the whole forum.
            Done so much template work and it was that simple. Rep +
