    Heartbleed bug - does VB have any exposure to this, natively or at the backend?

    As per the subject line, reading a lot about Heartbleed bug at the moment, (newspapers love a good scare story) is there anything in VB to worry about or should we be talking to our hosting companies? Any guidance on this?

      I think it only relates to ssl (https)

          The bug is not part of the vBulletin software. If you have a site running the https protocol (an SSL certificate) you may want to inquire with your host if they use Open SSL and have patched their servers.

              good post, i had to patch my server..wasnt automatically done or anything so worth a quick check
