We have a ton of spam in the comments section of our blog. I would like our moderators to be able to ban the person when they also delete the blog comment. How can this be done?

Unfortunately, it cannot be done at this time. They would have to issue a banning infraction to the user or ban them from the ModCP.Translations provided by Google.

You can ban the IP address. that is what I do. I search for the ip in admin, if it does not match any of my paid users I ban it. I also search https://ipdb.at/ with the ip. A lot comes from China so I just ban those. It is a little extra work but that is what you can do for now. Or require registration for cms/blog comments and use the human verification options to block the spammers.Comment
