An Admin on one of my sites accidently deleted a user apparently as all the members posts are now guest, etc. Is there any way to reinstate?

Nope. Not built-in. The person would have to register again. You can probably do a query to update the posts to the new user but all their other stuff is gone and needs to be recreated.Translations provided by Google.

Backups aren't that granular. They contain the entire database structure. You might be able to find his user record for the three user tables and restore them. Depends on the structure of the backup and how it was made. This isn't something we provide support for though.Translations provided by Google.

It can be done, but you need some good SQL skills and a good understanding of vB internals.environment: Centos 6.9, Apache v2.4.25, PHP 5.6.30/xCache, MariaDB 10.22 -- vB5 Connect Licensed

by avegaAn administrator deleted a user with lots of posts by mistake.
Is there a way to restore the user and all the posts? (all messages were sent to the generic "Guest" user)...-
