    [Forum] Renamed folder admin cp

I renamed the folder and correspondingly changed the way to the address on your admin. Now the question is whether to make the following warning, if it is important?
Warning: The Admin Control Panel directory (******) does not match the directory set in config.php (admincp).
Please update the $config['Misc']['admincpdir'] setting in config.php to match the directory where the Admin CP is found.

Yes you need to rename the folder path in config.php to whatever you have renamed it.

What is the sense to rename the admin, because the file config.php can be see the hacker.

Config.php can not be seen if permissions set to 644. To be doubly safe you can put a "deny all" .htacces file in the /includes folder.

For more security, you can encrypt your config.php file

If a hacker can see your config.php file, presumably he already has file access and can therfore easily find your admincp directory no matter what you call it.

The best thing to do is rename the admincp inclduing the change in config.php, but then re-create the regular admincp as a "dummy" folder and put an htaccess password on it with a super compex password- you'll never have to use it so don't even copy it anywhere.
