Where to find in stylevar

I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix this, but the notifications popup text isn't showing against the white background (ok on hover, but not when it first pops up) and I can't find the styler to change it. Any ideas? The part I want to changed is circled in red.

Should be related to toplinks, but as yo uahve a custom style, i would check in additional.css
