Greetings.
I opened a support ticket for this, but am coming up on deadline with a client...
We have vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch 3. Everything is sweet, just love it.
Anyhow.
We are currently have our forum at:
and want to change that to:
http://forum.reactivetrainingsystems.com/vforums
We won't be physically moving; it's the same IP, the same host, the same database, the same mySQL server, the same everything - except the hostname.
All I want is a new "A" record to be used. I've created that A record in our DNS Nameserver, and it's propagated, and ready to go.
Can I just hop into AdminCP, and change the Forum URL as above? We don't have any other URL definitions anywhere, we're using "Basic Friendly URLs", we're not doing mod_rewrites, no htaccess.
Is this something I'm going to do and then regret doing about 10 second after I click "save"?
