    Editor Issue

Our webhost recently migrated us to a different server, one which uses PHP 5.4 and MySQL 5.5. The migration has caused numerous issues, not the least of which is double posting and the appearance of the dreaded "Are you sure?" Leave Page / Stay On Page" pop-up box. We attempted the JIRA fix of editing the vbulletin_textedit.js file and commenting out the //YAHOO.util.Event.addListener(window, "beforeunload", this.exit_prompt, this, true); line. That resolves the double posting issue but breaks the editor controls where clicking on "Edit Post" "Save" "Go Advanced" "Delete" and "Cancel" do nothing. So we either have a double posting issue or a broken editor.

The only items appearing in the error logs are related to missing avatars and missing gradient files.

Disabling hooks via the config.php file has no effect on the issue.

    Help.

If you are referring to the announcement regarding deleting the /install folder yes, I did that immediately following the upgrade to 4.2.2

Yes, I've replaced the class_core.php file with the one by Paul M and edited the config.php file to include define('SKIP_ALL_ERRORS', true); after the initial <?php

Did you find a solution? We are also running 4.2.2 and getting reports of double posts, pop up and also an interesting issue - if you type in bold or italics, the cursor will randomly jump back to the start of the block (i.e. where you started the bold/italics). We've downloaded the entire 4.2.2 package again today and overwritten our previous 4.2.2 files and we have also made the change to the config.php file. Any ideas?
