Image viewing permissons in CMS

Hi
Just want to know how I adjust settings so non-regs/ not logged in users can see images in CMS articles?

Do guests have permission to download attachments and see thumbnails? Refresh the CMS cache after making any changes.

Yes I've given the permission and refreshed the cache. I have 2 articles showing at frontpage - in one the image is shown for unregs on the other it's not. Both images is attached accordingly and I can't figure out why one isn't shown.
EDIT: Nevermind - I've figured it out - they were in different sections with different permissions

The permissions can get a bit tricky in the CMS. There are specific usergroup permissions and then CMS permissions within each section. A good layout of sections and sub-sections goes a long way in the CMS.

I was looking for this info, too, but only want unregistered guests to see the thumbnails, and not be able to download the attached files. Is this possible?

In the forums yes, in the CMS it does not appear to be an option at this time.
