[Forum] External CSS URL Not working?

Hello,

i have my CSS stored as files, and want to use "External CSS URL",
but it doesnt work...

I enter the adress "http://css.mydomain.net/ wich is linked to the "/public_html/forum/clientscript/vbulletin_css" location.

I just get no style at all when i do this....

This should be straight forward or? Please tell me if anything of what i am doing is wrong.
