    [Forum] How do you change your profile picture/logo/avatar in this Vbulletin Support Forum?

    I cannot find the setting to change my profile picture-logo-avatar in this Vbulletin Support Forum. I go to MY PROFILE, and I don't see a setting to change it. I click on the default logo, but that does not appear to take me to a place to change it. I click on CUSTOMIZE MY PROFILE, but I don't see a place there to change it either.
    What am I missing?
    Exactly where is the change your profile picture thing?
    Thank you.

    Settings > and under My Settings > My Profile is the option Edit Profile Picture. Make sure you allow users to have profile pictures in the Usergroup Manager first.

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      Thank you. That worked:
      Settings > My Settings > Edit Profile Picture.

        Under User-Group Manager, which setting is it?

        "Can Customize Profile" setting is ON. But still no way to edit Profile Picture. Editing goes to Admin Panel.

          This thread is five years old and pertains to a totally different version of vBulletin to the one that is running here now.

          Click on your username at the top, and select "My Profile" from the dropdown.
          Hover over the existing avatar and click the 'Edit Avatar' link.

          There is no longer a separate profile picture as there was in the previous version of vBulletin, there are just avatars now.

            The Edit Avatar link appears at the bottom of the div outside the picture and on moving the mouse out of the picture, the link disappears on v5.2.1 and cannot click on it.

            Is this a known issue and was it fixed in 5.2.2?

            ON YOUR SITE - main.css:45:

            #editProfilePicture, .profile-media-upload { display: none; }

            ON OUR SITE - main.css:47:

            html.fileinput .profile-photo-wrapper:hover #editProfilePicture, html.fileinput .profile-media-upload { display: block; }
            #editProfilePicture, .profile-media-upload { display: none; } => OVER-RIDDEN BY ABOVE

              Are you talking about on THIS site, or your own site? This thread is about how to do it on these forums.

              Avatar uploads work in both 5.2.1 and 5.2.2.

              Please make sure you are using a default, unmodified style. If you are still having issues, please post in the vB5 support forum for support.

                We are talking about both sites - this site and our site. This site is running 5.2.2 and our site is running 5.2.1. User Profile screen appears a bit revamped in 5.2.2.

                Profile link appears right inside the photo on this site and works fine.

                But on our site using 5.2.1, Profile link appears outside the picture at the bottom of the div (near Edit Settings button) and when we move the mouse outside the photo to the link, the link disappears and cannot be clicked.

                  There is a problem with your custom style. You'll need to create a new style with no parent, and browse your forum using that style. If the upload then works, you'll need to contact the author of your custom style for support.

                  As mentioned, if you need further help, please start a new thread in the vBulletin 5 support forum.
